A company called Power mat has announced its new product, a mobile wireless charger that uses inductive coupling to transfer power to any device that is placed on it. The charger has the same name as the manufacturing company, comes in two models. The first one is shaped like a skateboard and can put up to three devices on it, but really could stand more than three, but the charge would take a little longer. The second model is a portable folding, and is presumed to be a little bigger.
As already mentioned, the devices are loads placed on the charger, and when no device on it does not consume electrical energy, which is a major advantage over conventional chargers that do consume energy if they stay connected, despite that nothing is charged.
